Battlefield 1943 : Good, bad and the ugly

I was greatly excited to see a full game offered in my xbox arcade marketplace that sparked my interest and for the first time, I really did feel like I got my money’s worth. Lest everyone not forget that I’m usually an avid PC gamer and solely keyboard and mouse, I did quite well for my first xbox FPS.

Concept:

Combining a classic WWII FPS with some intense multiplayer action, you get Battlefield 1943. The sense of being planted in numerous locations and fighting for bases (Capture the flag).

Sound:

Non existent soundtrack is backed by the moderate atmospheric sounds you'll hear whilst gunning down enemies. Really no shortcuts taken with the sampling of guns, bombs, shouts from comrades and the beloved air raid siren.

Graphics:

Infinityward rocks the console again. This time, for cheap. Stunning in-cockpit views, mixed with a graphic war scene adds up to some intense visuals getting sucked into the WWII running and gunning.
